The Engineering Efficiency team builds products and services to enable Roblox engineers to develop software that can be delivered to production quickly and efficiently while maintaining an exceptional level of quality.

Our customers are our coworkers, and you will work with engineers across Roblox to design, build, and maintain the development systems they need. You will work on projects at every stage of the pipeline, improving Roblox engineering quality, velocity, and happiness.

This is a high-impact position, critical to supporting our engineering teams as we scale our platforms to handle the demands of our targeted one billion monthly users.

You will Manage a team of Software Engineers and report directly to the Sr. Director of Engineering Efficiency.

This role is based in our San Mateo HQ office (on-site Hybrid).

You Will:

Contribute to building vision and strategy for Roblox's Engineering Efficiency
Grow the team by hiring talented engineers
Lead a world-class team of software engineers
Support and grow members of the team
Drive broad cross-company projects to improve engineering productivity and efficiency and help shape the direction and priorities of the Engineering Efficiency organization

You Have:

A track record of leading developer infrastructure engineering teams focused on building products that improve quality, velocity, and engineering happiness
Passion for building products for engineers that improve product quality, accelerate innovation, and encapsulate excellent engineering practices.
Experience including 5+ years managing a team of Software Engineers and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
Previous experience building systems to automate software delivery (CD).
Worked cross-functionally with Infrastructure peers, internal customers, stakeholders, and executives.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$331,640—$383,910 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
