Post Production Manager Mid-level (All Genders) - HelloFresh

The role

As a post-production manager in the HelloFresh Studio, you are a part of our post-production team, working daily on our food and lifestyle imagery. Your expertise in retouching, primarily in Photoshop, plays a crucial role in delivering consistent, appealing, high-quality, yet natural-looking imagery to our stakeholders. You have a good eye for detail and take pride in your work, yet appreciate constructive feedback, prioritize tasks efficiently and have a strong sense of time management. Communicating with various stakeholders and handling photography assets with care and structure. You are not only executing within established workflows, but confidently working with generative AI and hybrid approaches to enhance outputs, increase efficiency, and support new ways of creating visual content.

You are up to date with the most important image creation and retouching developments, including generative AI tools, and know how to apply them in a practical, production-ready context.

What you’ll do

• Editing and retouching of our food, product and lifestyle photography
• Handling and fulfilling retouching requests within a global and multi-stakeholder environment
• Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders worldwide, while managing feedback professionally
• Maintaining an organized workflow and file management standards
• Ensuring a consistent look according to our guidelines through all of your work and be a real brand ambassador
• Manage retouch projects, including clear and professional stakeholder communication
• Independently use generative AI tools within post-production workflows
• Review and refine AI-refined or generated imagery to ensure it meets high-quality, natural-looking, and brand-consistent standards

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in retouching in a commercial setting.
• True foodie who enjoys working with food imagery.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop and staying up to date with industry and technology trends. Capture One and/or Lightroom are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI image tools and workflows (prompting, iteration, refinement, or node based workflows)
• Strong visual judgment and ability to bring both traditionally shot and AI-assisted imagery to a consistent, high-end commercial quality
• True team player attitude excited about working in a creative and efficient environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Keen eye for detail and meticulous in consistency of outputs.
• Thorough with administrative tasks and have a structured approach to work.
• Pragmatic mindset, always looking for ways to improve and optimize routine tasks.
