What You'll Do
Epic Games is seeking a UX Designer to help shape the future of Fortnite and the broader Epic ecosystem. You’ll join the Fortnite UX team, working closely with product managers, programmers, and other designers to bring engaging player experiences to life. You’ll contribute to the design of key features, create prototypes and specifications, and help ensure our designs are both delightful and functional at scale.
In this role, you will
- Deliver clear wireframes, flows, prototypes, and specifications to communicate design solutions
- Participate in design critiques, usability testing, and iteration to ensure the best player experience
- Contribute to design systems and shared patterns while applying them to your work
- Communicate design ideas effectively, adapting the level of detail to the audience.
- Work collaboratively with UI Artists, Tech UI Designers, Programmers, and UX Researchers to develop features

- You take ownership of the craft and quality of your work, ensuring products meet a high bar. Proactively collaborating with the team, you identify and pursue opportunities for improvement when necessary
- You have a passion for making and playing games, and have a strong sense of player empathy
- You consistently demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and a genuine commitment to personal growth and development
- Please submit a portfolio of relevant design work that conveys your experience in designing and shipping successful products across multiple platforms (mobile, PC, and console platforms)
This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including CA & WA).
