Your Opportunity:

Are you ready to make an impact with New Relic as a Solutions Consultant? This role is perfect for someone who can combine technical expertise with exceptional customer-facing skills and business insight. You'll collaborate with colleagues across sales, engineering, and beyond to help showcase the transformative capabilities of our Intelligent Observability platform. By engaging with our mid-market customers and prospects, you'll empower them to optimise their digital experiences and unlock the full potential of New Relic.

What You'll Do:

  • Sales Support: Assist in opportunity qualification, technical discovery, and product demonstrations. Participate in Proof of Value/Concept presentations and workshops, RFX responses, and provide input for business justification in a pre-sales capacity.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong, trust-based relationships with mid-market customers and prospects to aid in their evaluation and expansion of New Relic solutions.
  • Partner with Sales: Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support technical discussions, identify revenue opportunities through upselling new solutions, and drive broader adoption of New Relic products.
  • Technical Insights: Maintain an understanding of the customer’s business and technical environment to bolster their observability strategies.
  • Product Evangelism: Advocate for new product capabilities, while gathering and relaying customer feedback to product management and engineering teams.

This Role Requires:

  • Experience in supporting pre-sales or consulting engagements with mid-market customers, ideally in roles that involve complex technical solutions.
  • Technical expertise combined with a focus on sales and customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, SRE, DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Understanding of enterprise technology layers, such as modern cloud applications, infrastructure, networks, data, security, and user experience.
  • Ability to use insights and data to enable decision-making within complex organisations.
  • Competent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with performance monitoring tools across infrastructure, applications, web or mobile, networks, user experience, and CX.
  • Knowledge of mobile device platforms & architectures (iOS & Android).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent is desirable.
