We are looking for an engineer to join our Cloud Centre of Excellence team to support and evolve the design and implementation of our global cloud infrastructure, our team:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Marketing team with a strong focus on email systems, infrastructure automation, and configuration management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Mail Transfer Agents (MTAs), SMTP protocols, email notification frameworks, and modern IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform with a deep knowledge in Jenkins. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of our system and email infrastructure.

You’ll spend time on the following:

Design, configure, and maintain Mail Transfer Agents (e.g., Postfix, Sendmail, Exim) and SMTP servers.
Implement and manage email notification systems across multiple services and platforms.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of email and system infrastructure.
Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to email delivery, system health, and server performance.
Collaborate with security and application teams to implement authentication (e.g., SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and compliance for email services.
Maintain detailed documentation and knowledge base for infrastructure and operational processes.
Participate in on-call rotations and support incident response when required.

We’re excited about you if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles and devops role.
Hands-on experience with MTA configurations (Postfix, Sendmail, Exim, etc.).
Strong Understanding with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g. Jenkins Pipelines to build, deploy and configure).
Strong knowledge of SMTP, DNS and TLS certification, and email delivery best practices.
Proficient in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Solid experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, DKIM, DMARC policies.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus and has worked with Migrations E2E
Working knowledge of cloud networking, including design and configuration of VPCs, subnets, and routing, with experience in BYOIP processes, ARIN IP management, and end-to-end IP address propagation to ISPs.
