About AppDirect

Become a digital, global citizen and enable the new generation of digital entrepreneurs around the world.  AppDirect offers a subscription commerce platform to sell any product, through any channel, on any device - as a service.  We power millions of subscriptions worldwide for organizations.  We do this by our values-driven culture—one that enables you to Be Seen, Be Yourself, and Do Your Best Work.

About You

We are seeking an experienced HR Professional to join our team of HR Business Partners. This person will primarily support our Hyderabad Engineering site and be a key HR contact for employees and leaders across our India operations, with connectivity to our global HR team. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and is capable of coaching and supporting leaders at all levels (from Manager to VP), while having a proven track record of turning HR strategies into deliverables.

As the Senior HR Business Partner for our Hyderabad site in addition to other functional businesses, you'll work closely with leaders to identify people priorities and develop recommendations that support business objectives. You will develop a deep understanding of the company culture and how to integrate acquired business team culture, advocating for your location's needs in the design of global HR programs and providing relevant India-market context to your peers when shaping company-wide priorities.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Coach and support leaders on the full spectrum of HR services, including performance management, organizational design, and employee relations
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to forecast hiring needs and define recruiting priorities for technical roles in Hyderabad's competitive talent market
  • Support headcount planning and provide HR input throughout the strategic workforce planning cycle
  • Guide leaders through change, including restructuring, team scaling, and role evolution
  • Review and analyze key HR metrics and make recommendations to boost engagement and reduce attrition
  • Collaborate with Compensation experts to provide offer recommendations, internal promotions, and recognition frameworks calibrated to the India market; act as a gatekeeper of internal equity
  • Advise leaders on talent development, promotions, and employee growth; build career paths and retention strategies for high performers

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of progressive, hands-on HR experience with at least 3–4 years in a dedicated Business Partner role supporting a global technology organization
  • Experience within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or India Development Center environment is a strong advantage
  • Ability to partner across HR functions, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, L&D, and HR Operations
  • Experience managing a broad range of HR challenges: performance management, attrition, restructuring, employee relations, and onboarding
  • Proven ability to implement engagement, wellness, or culture strategies that move the needle on employee morale
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor law and employment regulations (Industrial Relations Code, POSH Act, Shops & Establishments Act)
  • Comfort with HR analytics and HRIS tools (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar)
  • Natural relationship builder with the ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels
  • Exposure to global HR practices and cross-cultural collaboration is a plus
