Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, the Product Manager will work directly with our game teams to help and create the most engaging and rewarding product and live service experience for our players. They advocate for players in game development and live operations strategy and decisions to optimize game performance.
This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.
In this role, you can expect to:
Key Accountabilities

Player Advocacy and Strategy:
  • Represent the customer/player in all game development and live operations decisions.
  • Translate strategic directives into goals and features.
  • Live Operations and Monetization:
  • Generate forecasts and align content release cadences.
  • Define the Live Operations monetization strategy.
  • Craft live operation events and offers.
  • Optimize monetization KPIs.
  • Liaise between Live-Ops sales and Quests/Events teams.
  • Stay informed about competitor designs.
  • Game Improvement and Feature Analysis:
  • Proactively identify issues, optimizations, and feature improvements.
  • Deconstruct popular game features and monetization mechanics.
  • Coordinate with Project Management to establish schedules and plans.
  • Support other Product Managers in product development.
  • Data Analysis and Testing:
  • Communicate with the data team for in-depth evaluation of in-game trends.
  • Utilize A/B testing and machine learning techniques.
  • Translate outcomes into actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as the "go-to" resource for other teams for your products and features.
  • Collaborate with various teams and departments to achieve shared objectives.
  • To be successful in this role, your background includes:
  • Post-Secondary degree in related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant product experience in F2P mobile gaming.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise around driving monetization and player engagement via live operations events, sales and content.
  • A firm understanding of game economies, design principles and player psychology.
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate datasets into actionable insights - proficiency with spreadsheets.
  • Communicates in a clear, concise, and professional manner with staff at all levels; achieves team consent and buy-in; adapts communication style to the audience; explains difficult situations clearly.
  • Collaborates effectively with others in the same discipline, across feature groups, and cross-discipline regularly.
  • Builds trusted relationships with team members across disciplines and the company, inspires and encourages teamwork.
