The Role

As an Associate Software Engineer In Test, you will make contributions to developing automated tests and test frameworks for Veeva’s industry-leading Enterprise Content Management applications and services on our multi-tenant, highly scalable Cloud platform. We move fast and have fun. This is an exciting role on the ground floor of creating and maintaining a new suite of applications within Veeva’s Vault platform.
What You'll Do
  • Apply your programming skills towards automating and optimizing the testing of cloud-based applications
  • Contribute to the automation test framework and automation architecture
  • Create and improve testing-related documentation including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
  • Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes
  • Requirements
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, Javascript, Python
  • Must be able to work in a team setting and collaborate with others
  • Qualified candidates should have completed a 4 year university degree. Preferred are educational backgrounds in Computer Science (CS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Engineering (CE) or equivalent
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
  • Nice to Have
  • Relevant internship/co-op experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of common automation tools and BDD testing framework is highly desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Microservice architecture
  • Experience with unit test frameworks such as Junit and TestNG
  • Experience with cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins

  • Base pay: $75,000 - $95,000 CAD
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
