Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-impact, customer-facing solutions that drive business value.
• Design, build, and maintain robust full-stack features that deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services, distributed systems, and data pipelines processing large volumes of data on AWS.
• Apply AI-driven solutions and automation to improve data quality, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Lead by example by promoting best practices that improve code quality, team efficiency, and delivery predictability.
• Mentor and coach engineers across all levels, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and engineering excellence.
• Continuously improve developer experience by enhancing tooling, automating infrastructure provisioning, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve architecture, performance, and developer productivity.
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum-based product development process.

Must-have Skills 

• 6+ years of experience developing web applications, backend services, and data pipelines in production environments.
• Strong full-stack engineering experience, building and maintaining scalable frontend and backend systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Go, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures, deployment, and operations on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Hands-on experience with modern platforms and tools such as Kubernetes, Kafka, GraphQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
• Experience with monitoring systems, incident alerting, and reliability practices to support SLAs.
• Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and database/schema design.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Experience improving data quality and operational workflows through automation.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering culture beyond individual contributions.
