Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world.

The role

As a Senior Manager within our Capital Markets Team, you will be the execution lead and central orchestrator for our most critical initiatives, guiding them from inception to successful completion. This is a high-visibility leadership role for a hands-on operator who excels at driving complex, cross-functional workstreams while ensuring strict alignment with the company’s broader finance and planning priorities.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven leader who pairs a big-picture perspective with the analytical rigor required to dive into details, ask the right questions, and maintain cross-functional cohesion. You will own the advancement of key Capital Markets initiatives, ensuring all timelines are met. Serving as a trusted partner to the Director of Transaction Development, you will strengthen engagement with business lines and help shape SoFi’s evolving funding platform. This role requires combining strong execution discipline with strategic judgment, moving seamlessly between driving daily progress, clearing roadblocks, and providing high-level team direction.

What you’ll do:

  • Execution Leadership: Provide end-to-end oversight of Capital Markets initiatives, ensuring disciplined delivery and clear accountability across workstreams. Actively push progress, enforce timelines, and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement: Act as the primary liaison between Capital Markets and other partner teams, removing roadblocks and ensuring New Product and Transaction Execution teams can operate efficiently without distraction from external dependencies.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Identify execution risks and operational bottlenecks and design and implement practical mitigation strategies. Conduct analytics and deep-dive assessments as needed.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Drive alignment across senior stakeholders by establishing clear ownership, tracking milestones, and ensuring follow-through on commitments.
  • Executive Communication: Produce high-impact, concise updates and materials for senior leadership - providing transparency into progress, risks and key decisions.
  • Governance & Transparency: Maintain rigorous governance standards, including progress tracking, decision logs, and overall initiative health to ensure disciplined execution.
  • Funding & Transaction Strategy: Partner with Head of Capital Markets and senior team members to develop and advance innovative funding structures, transaction strategies, and scalable solutions that enhance SoFi’s competitive position.

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management or operations, preferably within Capital Markets, Finance, Investment Banking, or a high-growth Fintech environment.
  • Proven track record of "connecting the dots" across multiple complex concepts while maintaining the ability to dig deep into data and operational details.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive accountability across diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • A natural curiosity and the ability to ask the right questions to uncover risks and optimize project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives from ideation through completion, ensuring strategic initiatives are managed and driving forward.
  • Advanced proficiency in G-Suite/Microsoft Office (expert-level slide building) and project management platforms, with a disciplined approach to documentation and digital organization..
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, managing tight timelines and shifting priorities without compromising on the quality of strategic output.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
