Let's create better outcomes together!

The Senior Lead/Director, Capital Markets Strategy & Execution would report into our Head of Capital Markets and act as a "strategic lead" to optimize our enterprise funding platform, drive cross-functional execution, and help scale the organization as we grow.

Rather than acting as a traditional asset-class deal lead, you will create senior strategic leverage by owning cross-asset initiatives that bridge investor strategy, rating agency execution, analytics, and enterprise funding diversification. You will turn ambiguous, high-priority objectives into structured, measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Initiatives & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead High-Priority Initiatives: Own Capital Markets strategic projects from problem definition through to full implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Bridge: Coordinate and drive execution across Risk, Finance, Legal, Tech, Operations, and external counterparties.
  • Strategic Playbooks: Translate broad leadership goals into structured workplans, executive recommendations, and actionable implementation roadmaps.

2. Rating Agency, Investor, & Bank Strategy

  • Institutional Preparedness: Support strategic rating agency initiatives, including onboarding, diligence readiness, methodology/structuring mapping, and credit narrative formulation.
  • Counterparty Management: Help manage relationships across investment banks, institutional investors, and rating agencies.

3. Market Development & Secondary Liquidity

  • Liquidity Project Management: Drive initiatives focused on tracking and improving secondary market liquidity across relevant ABS shelves. Develop frameworks to monitor market liquidity, investor feedback, and provide updates and recommended actions to the executive team.

4. Scale, Automation, & AI Innovation

  • Process Automation: Identify and implement workflows to automate reporting, cash flow analysis (Intex), surveillance, and executive dashboards.
  • AI Roadmap: Partner with internal technology teams to build and scale safe, AI-enabled Capital Markets workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years in capital markets, structured finance, securitization, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a related financial services field.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong mastery of structured finance and debt funding concepts (ABS, warehouse facilities, forward flow, private credit, and debt documentation).
  • Asset Class Knowledge: Deep experience with consumer finance/fintech lending platforms and consumer ABS asset classes (e.g., personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, BNPL).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Intex, cash flow models, collateral performance analysis, and strong overall financial modeling capabilities.
  • Leadership & Drive: Proven ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous initiatives and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
