The Role:

Minted is excited to hire a Marketplace Operations Specialist. The Marketplace Operations team, within the larger Customer Operations department, is the primary point of contact for Minted’s 3P sellers, answering sellers’ questions and solving issues, and working with sellers to resolve product or customer issues, and also supports sellers in uploading new products, setting up storefronts, and more.

Reporting to the Manager, Marketplace Operations, this role is a subject matter expert for all topics related to seller support, Mirakl, our marketplace platform, as well as various internal tools like MBO, Retool, and more. This person is also the key point person for the artists and sellers of our Third Party Marketplace, providing day-to-day to support sellers in service of our 3P business goals. The perfect fit is someone who approaches challenges with positivity, and has a drive to deliver a great experiences to a variety of stakeholders - sellers, customers, and associates.
You Will:
  • Communicate with Marketplace sellers and execute solutions on all order issues, including late orders, order questions, order cancellations, returns, and other order complexities, as well as various platform- and product-related questions and issues
  • Provide best-in-class experiences for Minted sellers, their questions and problems are resolved quickly and accurately, and escalating priority issues as needed
  • Help monitor and improve seller-facing communication and processes to ensure a seamless seller experience
  • Be a business expert of our Marketplace Operations platform, Mirakl, and related internal Minted tools, collaborating with Marketplace Operations leadership to create processes, settings, and automations
  • Monitor and maintain KPIs, such as SLA compliance, return rates, and cancellation trends
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to execute contingency plans for high-risk periods, including holiday seasons or major promotions
  • Maintain order statuses across Mirakl and MBO, ensuring accuracy for financial reporting at the end of the year (keeping track throughout the year)
  • Support sellers in maintaining their Mirakl scoring metrics, as defined by the 3P Core team and Marketplace Operations leadership
  • Partner with Merch to find alternative products for OOS/order issues
  • Support Marketing and the core team asks about product inventory levels and restocking, as needed
  • Elevate systemic or complex issues as needed to help solve root cause issues for sellers and the business
  • Act as a Marketplace expert for the Customer Operations team, supporting Customer Service and other CO teams with their questions related to items sold by our third-party sellers, existing orders, and Marketplace-specific policies
  • Support seller communication for product requests from the PR/Brand/Influencer teams
  • Work with Engineering to ensure order statuses are connected appropriately and escalate tool bugs or gaps
  • Collaborate with Marketplace leadership and provide feedback on the documentation and upkeep of standard operating procedures for all Marketplace Operations order management tasks, ensuring 3P orders are flowing and exceptions are worked quickly and accurately
  • You Have:
  • 2-3 years of Customer Service experience, ideally with experience supporting agent help desk, coaching & feedback, or onboarding activities
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience building processes, creating documentation, and/or training others
