About the team
The Risk Program Management Office is a global team that leads complex, cross-functional programs across Operations, Product, Engineering, GTM, Partnerships, and Risk teams. We are a team of program management allstars who work to make it as seamless as possible for our users to navigate an evolving regulatory environment.
We are expanding our scope into one of Stripe's most consequential strategic priorities and launching in new markets. This work is new, fast-moving, and highly ambiguous — and we're looking for a leader who thrives in exactly that environment. In APAC, our portfolio spans established operations and GTM priorities as well as new licensing, market expansion, and product launches. The work ranges from strengthening and scaling existing programs to building entirely new capabilities from 0→1.
What you’ll do
This is a leadership role with the responsibility for defining the vision and scaling the portfolio of Risk Programs across APAC. You will develop and lead a high-performing team, determine where it should focus, and lead a broad mix of work from initial problem framing through implementation.
Working as part of the global Risk Programs team, you will represent our team in regional and global forums. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, build alignment across cross-functional teams, and establish the operating models, playbooks, and programs needed to deliver durable outcomes at scale.
Responsibilities
Build and inspire an exceptional team
- Develop, lead, and retain a senior program managers, helping them grow into strategic leaders who can shape decisions and mobilize organizations
- Set a compelling vision for the APAC Risk Programs team and connect its work to Stripe’s topline priorities
Build from 0>1 a broad and consequential APAC portfolio
- Take on the region’s most important and ambiguous Risk challenges—developing a point of view, defining the path forward, and leading the work from strategy through execution
- Identify emerging needs, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and focus the team on the opportunities and problems that matter most
Deliver Operational and GTM programs
- Manage an existing suite of programs and partner with Operations to forecast demand, manage capacity, and prepare teams to support users as requirements, products, and volumes change
- Enable GTM teams to guide users through complex and evolving compliance programs with clear guidance, effective tools, and strong escalation paths
Mobilize Stripe and model execution excellence
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior regional and global leaders, bringing clarity, judgment, and a strong understanding of APAC to important decisions
- Build durable partnerships across cross-functional teams to resolve tradeoffs and deliver shared outcomes

Minimum requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, program management, management consulting, or a related field
- 5+ years of people leadership, with a track record of developing and retaining high-performing teams
- Experience owning a broad portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution
- Demonstrated success building from 0→1 and strengthening established programs at scale
- Strong executive communication and presence
- Experience leading across cultures, geographies, and time zones
- Fluency with AI tools and examples of using them to improve your own or your team’s effectiveness
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience at a leading technology company or consulting firm
- Prior experience working in Singapore and across APAC markets
Nice to have
- Payments, fintech, or financial-services experience
- Experience with licensing, market entry, or global expansion
