This individual contributor role will be responsible for managing and optimizing our global benefits programs, with a strong emphasis on US benefits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in US benefits administration and a solid understanding of global benefits practices.Primary responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive global benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to employee benefits.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams to develop and manage benefits programs that meet local requirements and align with global strategies.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive and cost-effective benefits offerings.
- Partner with external vendors and consultants to manage benefits administration and resolve any issues.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.
- Develop and deliver benefits communication materials and presentations to educate employees about their benefits options.
- Monitor and analyze benefits trends and best practices to continuously improve our benefits programs.
- Manage the annual benefits renewal process, including negotiations with providers and implementation of changes.
- Support the development and implementation of wellness initiatives to promote employee health and well-being.
What it takes to be successful:- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems.
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
Education and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in benefits management, with a strong focus on US benefits.
- Experience with global benefits programs and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of US benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Certification in benefits (e.g., CEBS, CBP) is a plus.
