Job description

Ready to do the most impactful work of your career? At Coinbase, we are uncompromising on our mission to increase economic freedom. The bar is high, the environment is intense, and we like it that way. This isn't a place for complacency, it’s a place to be pushed past your perceived limits. If you're ready to build the future of finance alongside people who refuse to settle for "good enough," you belong here. Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” learn more about working at Coinbase.

We're hiring an Experiential Marketing Associate to join the Marketing team and help bring Coinbase to life through high-impact events and experiences. This team plans and executes events that drive brand awareness, deepen customer relationships, and support business goals across Consumer and Institutional audiences. You'll own the full lifecycle of event execution, from concept through post-event reporting, and coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to deliver polished, on-brand experiences that connect Coinbase with customers, partners, and the broader crypto community.

What you'll do:

  • Own end-to-end event execution across Coinbase's experiential marketing calendar, managing logistics including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, contract negotiation, budgets, and attendee management.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Communications to align event programming with business priorities and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Build and maintain event project plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents, tracking all milestones from pre-event planning through post-event wrap-up.
  • Support creative development for event experiences, collaborating with design and brand teams on invitations, signage, branded materials, and on-site activations.
  • Track event budgets, manage vendor invoices, and reconcile expenses to ensure programs are delivered within approved spend.
  • Measure event performance by compiling post-event reports with attendance data, engagement metrics, and attribution to pipeline or revenue goals.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in event management or experiential marketing, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end event logistics and execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines across overlapping timelines.
  • Hands-on experience with vendor and venue management, including contract negotiation and budget tracking.
  • Proficiency with event management platforms (e.g., Splash, Eventbrite, Cvent) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
  • Track record of compiling post-event reporting with measurable outcomes such as attendance targets, engagement rates, or attribution to leads and revenue.
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):
$100,725—$118,500 USD
