Job description

Be the one building AI-powered experiences where they matter most

At Genesys, we help organizations create better customer experiences through AI-powered experience orchestration. Our platform connects people, systems, data and AI to help organizations deliver more personalized service, improve operational efficiency and build stronger customer relationships.

Help build, support and operate technology used by more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries – moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.

Role Overview:
Engineering effectiveness depends on making complex technical knowledge, tools, and practices easy for engineers to discover, understand, and apply. As an Engineering Enablement Specialist, you will own strategic enablement initiatives that improve how engineers onboard, build expertise, adopt evolving engineering practices, and access critical knowledge across a global organization.

You will independently shape scalable learning, knowledge management, and communication approaches using Generative AI, automation, and modern learning technologies. Partnering with Engineering leaders, subject matter experts, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders, you will solve complex enablement challenges, influence practices, and drive alignment across teams.

At Genesys, you will lead major cross-functional initiatives, guide colleagues, and influence how engineers learn and adopt new capabilities at scale. This role provides exposure to enterprise engineering initiatives while expanding your expertise in AI-enabled learning, knowledge management, and organizational enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Own end-to-end engineering onboarding and continuous learning programs that accelerate productivity, strengthen technical capability, and scale across teams

·       Lead major and complex enablement initiatives, establishing objectives, determining delivery approaches, coordinating dependencies, and evaluating outcomes

·       Design scalable playbooks, documentation, learning content, and AI-assisted resources that make complex engineering knowledge easier to discover, understand, and apply

·       Drive the strategic use of Generative AI and automation to improve enablement content, knowledge management, and workflows while maintaining accuracy and relevance

·       Influence adoption of engineering tools, processes, standards, and organizational practices by translating complex requirements into practical enablement strategies

·       Partner across Engineering, Product, Operations, and other functions to resolve complex enablement needs, align priorities, and deliver clear, consistent communications

·       Establish feedback mechanisms and performance measures to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities, and continuously improve enablement programs

·       Guide and coach colleagues involved in enablement initiatives while evaluating emerging technologies and practices that can improve engineering productivity and access to knowledge

Required Qualifications:

·       8+ years of related professional experience in Engineering Enablement, Technical Training, Learning and Development, Technical Communications, Instructional Design, Program Management, Business Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education

·       Demonstrated success leading major or complex cross-functional programs with substantial ownership, independent judgment, and limited oversight

·       Advanced experience developing scalable technical learning, documentation, knowledge management, or enablement programs for technical audiences

·       Strong background partnering with Engineering leaders and subject matter experts to analyze complex needs and translate technical concepts into practical strategies and resources

·       Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across functions, build alignment, and provide guidance or coaching to colleagues

·       Strong program and project management capability, including defining approaches, managing dependencies, coordinating priorities, and evaluating outcomes

·  Demonstrated experience applying Generative AI to content development, knowledge management, communications, or workflow automation, combined with strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience working within a global software engineering, SaaS, cloud, or technology organization

·       Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices

·       Experience with Confluence, Learning Management Systems, knowledge management platforms, documentation tools, or comparable enterprise enablement technologies

·       Experience designing AI-assisted learning or knowledge solutions, videos, e-learning, interactive learning content, workshops, or other scalable learning experiences

Benefits That Support You:
We invest in your well-being, because when you’re at your best, so are the experiences you create.

·       Comprehensive extended group health coverage

·       Generous paid time off, including vacation and personal leave

·       Retirement savings program with employer RRSP matching up to a prescribed maximum amount

·       Family-friendly benefits, including parental leave top-up and adoption assistance

·       Growth and development opportunities through access to learning resources and internal mobility programs

Exact details of these programs, including the conditions for eligibility, the amount of the benefit (including caps on benefits and customary pricing details), the length of the paid time off, etc. will be provided upon hire and is subject to Genesys policies.
