Job description

At Similarweb, we are revolutionizing the way businesses interact with the digital world by revealing to them everything that happens online.

Our unique data and solutions empower thousands of customers globally, including industry giants like Google, eBay, and Adidas, to make game-changing decisions that drive their digital strategies.

In 2021, we went public on the New York Stock Exchange, and we continue to reach new heights! Come work alongside Similarwebbers across the globe who are bright, curious, practical, and good people.

We are looking for a highly accomplished, hands-on Director of Operations - Procurement & Travel to join our team and lead a pivotal global function.
In this role, you will own Similarweb’s global procurement ecosystem and corporate travel program end-to-end.
As a true "player-coach," you will lead a dedicated team while staying deeply involved in high-stakes vendor negotiations, process automation, and cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Legal, Security, and Executive leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Global Procurement: Own the intake-to-procure lifecycle, standardizing approval workflows across R&D, IT, Security, Finance, and Legal to ensure high efficiency and fast cycle times.
  • Drive Sourcing & Strategic Negotiations: Lead complex contract negotiations across technology categories (SaaS, cloud infrastructure, software licenses) and non-tech categories (Marketing, HR, Professional Services, Facilities).
  • Optimize Spend & Value: Set global cost-saving targets, lead vendor consolidation initiatives, and proactively manage contract renewals.
  • Elevate Systems & Automation: Continuously scale our procurement infrastructure, leveraging tools like Zip, NetSuite, and CLM platforms to drive automation.
  • Own the Global Travel Program: Oversee company travel policies, manage agency partnerships, optimize booking tools, and deliver spend analysis to FP&A and business heads.
  • Ensure Vendor Governance & Compliance: Collaborate with Legal and Security to ensure all global vendors align with GDPR, SOC 2, and data privacy standards.
  • Empower & Lead: Mentor and develop a lean, high-performing team while driving operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

  • 12+ years of operational procurement experience, with significant background in global tech or SaaS environments.
  • 5+ years in leadership positions, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Hands-on approach: A strong execution mindset with a passion for jumping directly into negotiations, contract reviews, and operational problem-solving.
  • Expertise in Tech & Non-Tech Sourcing: Experience managing complex SaaS and IT infrastructure deals as well as general corporate services.
  • Tooling Proficiency: Direct experience with intake-to-procure platforms (Zip or similar) and CLM tools. Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Corporate Travel Management: Familiarity with corporate travel policies, agencies, and booking platforms is a plus.
  • Strong Commercial & Negotiation Acumen: Outstanding analytical skills and ability to present actionable spend insights to C-level executives.
  • Fluency in English and Hebrew (both written and spoken).
