Job Description

HelloFresh is seeking a Claims & Risk Analyst to join our team! As a Claims & Risk Analyst, you will support day-to-day operations across claims management, reporting, and insurance program administration. This role is primarily focused on supporting our Workers' Compensation program, while also assisting with a smaller portfolio of general liability, property, subrogation (recovery), and commercial auto claims as needed.

You will play a key role in ensuring claims are managed efficiently from intake through resolution by supporting claim intake, tracking, reporting, and timely claim processing. You'll maintain accurate claims data and dashboards while coordinating with internal stakeholders, third-party administrators (TPAs), carriers, and brokers to help drive claims toward successful resolution.

This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across corporate risk management, including claims oversight, data analytics, return-to-work programs, insurance renewals, and continuous process improvement.

You will...

  • Manage claim intake end-to-end, including FNOL processing, initial review, severity assignment, and escalation identification
  • Monitor and support claims throughout the lifecycle by handling routine follow-ups, identifying aging or high-risk claims, and coordinating with adjusters to ensure timely progression
  • Prepare and support bi-weekly claim reviews, including compiling data, tracking action items, and maintaining TPA performance metrics
  • Build, maintain, and validate dashboards and reports across claims, trends, KPIs, and loss data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, emerging risks, and recurring root causes, and partner with internal stakeholders to support action planning
  • Track Return-to-Work progression for injured workers, and compliance-related data, including audit support and timely updates across systems
  • Track and support subrogation and recovery efforts, including follow-ups on outstanding items and documentation
  • Assist with insurance program administration, including exposure data collection, renewal support, and submission preparation
  • Review claim files and collaborate with TPAs on reserve adequacy and claim strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally to gather required documentation and support efficient claim processing
  • Participate in regular calls with carriers, brokers, and TPAs to support claim oversight and program execution
  • Support additional risk management and claims-related tasks as needed

At a minimum, you have...

  • 2–3 years experience with workers' compensation claims, either as a claims adjuster or through direct involvement of an employer's Workers' Compensation program within a risk management function.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider high school diploma with 2+ years of experience listed above
  • ARM, CPCU, CRM, AIC or other risk/insurance designations preferred but not required
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities; Power BI and/or RMIS experience is a plus
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset and are highly responsive to meeting the needs of our internal and external customer
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, while effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, with a flexible approach to shifting priorities, processes, and responsibilities

You’ll get…

  • Competitive Salary & 401k company match that vests immediately upon participation
  • Generous parental leave of 16 weeks & PTO policy
  • $0 monthly premium and other flexible health plans
  • 85% discount on your subscription to HelloFresh (as well as other product initiatives)
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Collaborative, dynamic work environment within a fast-paced, mission-driven company
This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities. However, the Company reserves the right to adjust, modify, or reassign work tasks and responsibilities as needed to meet changing business needs, operational requirements, or other factors.
