Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Develop and enhance flight control software based on requirements from the Aerodynamics and Flight Control teams.
  • Improve and maintain Ground Control Station (GCS) software to support Flight Test and Operations activities.
  • Integrate payloads including cameras, gimbals, and mission-specific systems into the aircraft software architecture.
  • Integrate new sensors, communication systems, and onboard technologies to expand platform capabilities.
  • Maintain and improve continuous integration test environments and hardware test benches.
  • Define, execute, and oversee ground and flight test campaigns to validate software performance.
  • Support R&D flight testing in the field, troubleshooting and optimizing software in real-world conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams including Flight Control, Navigation, and Payload Integration to deliver aircraft-level software solutions.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Control Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience deploying software on embedded or real-time systems.
  • Proven experience testing, validating, and debugging complex software systems.
  • Understanding of rapid prototyping, iterative development, and engineering for hardware integration.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-technology environments where adaptability and ownership are essential.
