Position Overview:

The Lead Software Test Engineer is responsible for leading the approach to testing and validation of IRT systems across all endpoint teams. They also validate applications created using endpoint PULSE platform. Working closely with subject matter experts across functional teams, they are responsible for improving system quality and gaining efficiencies.


Responsibilities:
  • Act as one of the primary quality stakeholders for the endpoint PULSE platform as well as additional web, voice and mobile interfaces.
  • Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.
  • Work with other team members to design and develop unit, system and automated tests.
  • Enhance and implement world-class automation testing methodologies.
  • Responsible for ownership of internal test case management platform.
  • Provide the team with continuous risk assessment and recommendations for test prioritization.
  • Act as subject matter expert for testing best practices and participate in the ongoing improvement of testing processes and procedures.
  • Coordinates testing activities and testing resources during each testing phase of a project
  • Provides mentoring and training to Test Engineer/Senior Test Engineer
  • Respond to Operations and Quality Assurance (QA) department requests as needed.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
  • Experience:
  • Experience working in software testing/QA in the clinical trials industry.
  • Experience with managing teams
  • Some experience with testing automation.
  • Strong ability to understand technical software concepts and comfortable interacting with databases.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
  • Prior experience testing voice (IVR) web (IWR) and mobile (IMR) platforms a big plus.
