We are seeking a Staff Business Applications Engineer – Salesforce Lead to lead the design, development, and optimization of our Salesforce Sales Cloud and Partner Portal ecosystem. This role will be responsible for architecting and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that streamline sales processes, partner operations, and data integrations across systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Sales Cloud and Partner Portal implementations, experience integrating with Impartner (or similar partner management platforms), and a strong understanding of quote-to-cash (CPQ/Billing) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales Cloud and Partner Portal roadmap, ensuring scalability, automation, and data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Partner teams to optimize lead management, opportunity lifecycle, deal registration, and partner enablement.
- Architect and implement Partner Portal integrations using Impartner or similar PRM systems to enhance partner engagement and visibility.
- Partner with global stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that align with business needs and enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, Flows, Apex classes, and Lightning components (LWC).
- Own integration design between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (ERP, CLM, Marketing Automation, etc.).
- Drive data quality, governance, and platform performance improvements.
- Support release management, testing, and production deployments in collaboration with global teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for the Salesforce team.
- Contribute to quote-to-cash automation initiatives leveraging Salesforce CPQ and Billing (preferred).
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform capabilities, emerging technologies, and partner ecosystem trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including 3+ years in a lead or architect-level capacity.
- Strong expertise in Sales Cloud (Lead, Opportunity, Pipeline, Forecasting, and Territory Management).
- Experience implementing or integrating Partner Portals, ideally connected to Impartner or similar partner management platforms.
- Deep understanding of Sales processes, partner operations, and data security models.
- Strong technical skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proven ability to lead complex Salesforce projects end-to-end.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or quote-to-cash workflows.
- Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, or Application Architect.
- Familiarity with ERP integration (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum) and Agile methodologies.
- Background in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
