Job Description

Role Overview 

AvePoint is seeking a Senior Director of Field Enablement to lead and scale global enablement programs that drive revenue growth, productivity, and excellence across customer-facing teams. 

The ideal candidate is a seasoned enablement leader with field experience, ideally in B2B and SaaS, with a strong track record in content creation, program design, and enablement strategy. 

This person should also be a hands-on, practical leader who collaborates closely with the team to execute. Experience in content design and authoring, global enablement, and influencing stakeholders at all levels is essential. 

Key Responsibilities 

Program Development, Enablement Execution & Strategy Activation 

  • Partner with teams across functions to develop and deliver global enablement programs for sales and technical staff 
  • Collaborate with field leadership, product, marketing, and GTM teams to create quarterly modules that support business growth and local needs 
  • Design and implement scalable enablement frameworks and programming aligned to business priorities 
  • Track key metrics for new and experienced hires to enhance enablement effectiveness 
  • Build partnerships and processes to continuously improve AvePoint’s enablement efforts 

Sales & Management Onboarding and Ramp 

  • Deliver cohort-based new hire training for quota-carrying employees to accelerate ramp-up and productivity 
  • Help design and scale global onboarding programs for sales and sales leadership 
  • Create and deliver onboarding materials and e-learning through AvePoint’s LMS 
  • Partner with field leaders and coaches to support onboarding success through the first 90 days and beyond 
  • Monitor onboarding KPIs and optimize programs based on performance data 

Develop Field Coaching & Sales Capability 

  • Partner with field coaches to identify sales capability gaps and translate insights into targeted enablement solutions 
  • Provide coaching support across discovery, storytelling, objection handling, and value-based selling 
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to deploy targeted skill development programs 
  • Enable field champions and managers to drive activation and reinforcement 

Measurement & Continuous Improvement 

  • Track and report enablement program metrics (e.g., ramp time, certification rates, win rates) 
  • Build executive-level reporting and dashboards to demonstrate impact 
  • Gather field feedback and continuously iterate programs for effectiveness and engagement 

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnerships 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing enablement team with potential for future expansion 
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, RevOps, and L&D stakeholders globally 
  • Establish enablement as a strategic partner to the business while maintaining strong execution rigor 
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on contribution where needed 

 

Qualifications 

  • 8+ years in field enablement, sales enablement, or a related role, ideally in B2B SaaS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred 
  • Proven success designing and scaling global enablement programs 
  • Strong experience in content design, curriculum development, and authoring 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and run enablement programs end to end 
  • hands-on, practical leader who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments 
  • Able to operate at both strategic and executional levels 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Experience with LMS/LXP platforms and certification programs 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with influence at all levels 
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence across functions and levels 
  • Experience in a global role across regions, cultures, and time zones 
  • Content localization experience is a plus 
  • Willingness to travel as needed 

The Salary Range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
