Job Description
Articulate is seeking a Sr Brand Designer II to shape our brand’s visual identity and lead the development of large-scale campaigns, web experiences, and scalable brand systems. This role plays a critical part in campaign art direction and acquisition-facing surfaces — ensuring our brand shows up with clarity and impact across digital, web, and experiential touchpoints.

While this position does not include direct reports, you will act as a mentor and guide for other designers on the team, sharing your expertise and providing valuable feedback to enhance execution and strengthen our design capabilities.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic and thoughtful advocate of design thinking, highly skilled in modern design tools, and deeply proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. You have an expert design eye and a commitment to ensuring quality and consistency across all brand touchpoints. You will be expected to independently scope and lead campaign and web initiatives, partnering closely with GTM, Messaging, and Product to ensure cohesive, outcome-driven creative execution.
What You'll Do:
  • Design Thinking & Storytelling
  • Drive the development and evolution of our brand identity across campaigns, web journeys, and high-visibility brand moments, ensuring consistency and alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Lead art direction for integrated campaigns and web experiences, ensuring brand expression translates effectively across acquisition surfaces, landing pages, and product-adjacent storytelling.
  • Develop visually compelling designs that engage and resonate with audiences, applying design principles and aesthetics to create meaningful narratives.
  • Guide creative approaches that can scale across teams, vendors, and collaborators, ensuring systems-level design thinking translates into high-quality execution.

  • Design Execution
  • Own the execution of major campaign and web experience projects, including art direction, asset development, and optimization of high-impact acquisition surfaces.
  • Ensure design consistency and high fidelity across brand guidelines, toolkits, and cross-medium assets.
  • Influence, guide, and oversee specialty designers, external vendor partners, or other collaborators as necessary to complete and execute projects to the highest caliber.
  • Independently scope, prioritize, and manage complex design projects while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and creative excellence.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders by presenting work with clarity and confidence, guiding teams through creative rationale to enable informed, strategic decision-making and ensure alignment on high-impact brand outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing, messaging, product, development leads, and other design talent to ensure that your proposed designs are consistent, strategically sound, and providing optimal impact.
  • Act as creative thought partner to cross-functional partners, articulating design rationale and championing best practices that contribute to the overall brand and product experience.
  • Partner closely with development teams to problem-solve in real time, ensuring creative intent is preserved through implementation.

  • Team Citizenship
  • Proactively lead design processes to shape design approaches to ensure efficiency and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Serve as a mentor to other designers, offering constructive feedback and sharing knowledge to help them excel and contribute to the brand experience.
  • Promote a culture of openness, feedback, and inclusivity while evolving the brand design system and visual language at scale.
  • Act as a bridge between internal design peers and external collaborators, modeling best practices in communication, quality control, and feedback.
  • What You Should Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio in integrated brand campaigns, web experiences, and experiential design, ideally in an agency setting or in-house role with a wide purview
  • Proven success in brand campaigns and agency work, focused on compelling visual narratives
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma with a strong understanding of its features
  • Demonstrated experience leading campaign art direction across digital and web environments, including collaboration with performance or acquisition-focused teams
  • Expertise in visual design & art direction, including brand identity and guidelines
  • Strong understanding of brand identity and a power of storytelling, you foster a creative culture of innovation, positivity, and growth
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to align creative direction with strategic business needs
  • Experience mentoring teams and providing constructive feedback
  • Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while being a resilient and reliable team player working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Nice to Haves:
  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology-driven company, closely collaborating with marketing teams
  • Experience working with fabricators, production teams, developers, and vendors to bring designs to life
  • Everything You Need, One Platform.
