About the Role 
As an Experienced QA Engineer focused on Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems, you will apply strong manual testing expertise with hands-on Java test automation. You will design and execute functional, integration, API, and end-to-end tests, analyze test results and defects, and contribute to ensuring high product quality. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, you will help validate business requirements, identify quality risks, and support successful software releases. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Design and execute end-to-end and integration test scenarios across multiple system components 
  • Analyze defects, defect trends, and quality metrics to uncover underlying system, process, or coverage issues. 
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases and test scenarios for business logic, integrations and cross-system workflows.  
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to align on testing approaches and quality standards  
  • Perform testing activities for Salesforce and enterprise integration initiatives, combining strong manual testing with automation where applicable.  
  • Contribute to automated test coverage  
  • Review automation results, investigate failures and maintain stable regression coverage.  
  • Contribute to release validation by reporting test results, defects and identified quality risks.  
  • Identify defects and quality risks and communicate them clearly to the team.  
  • Execute testing activities according to established quality gates and processes.  
  • Track testing progress and contribute to quality reporting and improvement opportunities.  
  • Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, test execution efficiency, and overall testing process.  
  • Share testing knowledge and collaborate with team members on consistent QA practices.  
  • Manage defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, escalation, and clear communication of quality risks.

What You’ll Bring 

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing / QA engineering, including hands-on experience with Java-based test automation. 
  • Strong understanding of manual test design techniques, risk-based testing, release quality assessment, automation strategy and QA methodologies. 
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test designs, test cases and test reports. 
  • Solid experience with defect management, including severity and priority assessment, defect trend analysis, and risk communication. 
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, web services, integration validation, automated API checks and test evidence collection. 
  • Practical experience with Java programming for test automation. 
  • Ability to write SQL/SOQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and test evidence collection. 
  • Experience defining or applying quality gates, test metrics, and release readiness criteria. 
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and contribute to testing process improvements. 
  • Experience contributing to automated testing initiatives is considered an advantage. 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams 
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development process 

 

Bonus Skills 

  • Salesforce certifications 
  • Background working in regulated environments (such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates 
  • Experience testing complex integrations across multiple systems 
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture and customization (Apex, flows, etc.) 
  • Advanced experience with Java-based automation frameworks and CI/CD-integrated test execution.

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
