As a Software Engineer Intern on the Ad Creatives team in our Tel Aviv office, you’ll work on large-scale systems that power advertising across the open web. You’ll develop software used by thousands of websites and reach more than 1.4B users, while working alongside experienced engineers on high-scale, real-time systems and seeing the impact of your work almost immediately.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent, with strong Computer Science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, systems and multithreading
- Programming experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language
- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis and Big Data concepts
- Experience or academic/project experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with Generative AI coding tools
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark or Kafka
- Experience with cloud, containerization or distributed systems technologies
How you’ll make an impact:
- Develop software components and infrastructure supporting thousands of websites and more than 1.4B users across the open web
- Build and maintain high-scale, real-time systems handling more than 500,000 requests per second and generating 100TB of new data every day
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers and product managers to design and deliver new features
- Work with CI/CD, A/B testing and large-scale data to develop, test and improve production systems
- Work with technologies including Java, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, BigQuery, Airflow and other modern data and infrastructure tools
- Analyze system performance and use data to improve the reliability, scalability and efficiency of our solutions
