About the role:

As a member of a team, you’ll need strong technical skills and a solid background in Computer science and technology to be able to accept various challenges, make valuable contributions, and generally have a great experience in Kong. You will have the opportunity to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery, and collaborate with your team on the strategy and execution of our key product.
What you'll be doing:
Assist in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to optimize software development and release processes.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and deliverability.
Learn and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Utilize Bazel for building and testing, assisting in build process optimization.
Support development and deployment of Lua and Rust projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation, and participate in technical support and training activities.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 1 year of DevOps-related internship/work experience.
Basic understanding of Bazel with willingness to learn build optimization.
Fundamental knowledge of Lua and Rust programming languages (experience with relevant projects preferred).
Foundational knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency with version control tools (Git) and basic understanding of automation tools.
Basic understanding of cloud services concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong communication skills, team spirit, and passion for continuous learning.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Lua/Rust project development
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools
Exposure to monitoring/observability tools
