- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Java or Ruby and a strong understanding of AWS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading feature development, mentoring junior developers, and designing robust features or infrastructure. A solid grasp of OOPs concepts and functional strength is essential, with additional knowledge of GoLang, Python, or NodeJS being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Design and implement infrastructure or features with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and cloud architecture.
- Promote a strong understanding of OOPs concepts and functional programming principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proficiency in Java or Ruby programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Experience as a lead developer, managing teams and feature development.
- Clear understanding of OOPs concepts and their practical application.
- Functional strength in problem-solving and software design.
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of GoLang, Python, or NodeJS.
- Experience with designing infrastructure or complex features.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Education and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Security and Privacy Requirements- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies.
