What You Will Be Doing:

We're looking for a thoughtful and passionate Senior People Operations Generalist to join our team. As a Senior People Operations Generalist, you will play a prominent role in our team's mission to create an inclusive, engaging workplace where our team members can excel and make a meaningful impact. We pride ourselves in making Helion a great place for employees to build amazing things. We're looking for someone with broad HR knowledge with a focus on benefits, payroll, leave, and immigration. You will report directly to our People Operations Manager at our Everett, WA office.

You Will:

  • Administer our benefit plans; process new hire and change enrollments, liaise with vendors, and work with brokers and our learning team to promote employee benefits education
  • Evaluate the inclusiveness and value of current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement, including health, wellness, and retirement plans
  • Manage all payroll functions, including bi-weekly payroll, maintenance of regular and one-off earnings and deductions, taxes, and employee inquiries
  • Support employee timekeeping and bi-weekly timecard review, including hours worked, time off, pay and benefit adjustments, and proper approval
  • Develop our immigration program; work with the candidate and lawyer to ensure accurate submissions filed with USCIS
  • Administer employee leaves of absence. Track all absence status, documentation, and return to work dates with employees and their managers
  • Support the continuous improvement of procedures to ensure we are supported, scaling, and providing positive a employee experience
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring we remain in compliance

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of HR regulations, compliance, and best practices
  • Relevant experience in Benefits, Payroll, LOA or Immigration
  • Demonstrated project management skills

The pay range for this position is $115K - $150K. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.
