The Senior Analyst, Strategic Initiatives is a high-impact, high-visibility analytical role on GoodLeap's Strategy team, based in our West Palm Beach office. This individual will be the analytical engine behind the enterprise agenda across GoodLeap's point-of-sale lending platform, payments solutions, capital markets, and sustainable home solutions ecosystem. The Senior Analyst will dig into the business's data to uncover where margin is won and lost, which markets and customer segments to pursue next, and how to forecast performance with speed and accuracy — then, exercising independent judgment and discretion, translate those findings into clear, simple recommendations that inform senior leadership's strategic decisions. The role offers significant leadership exposure, a steep learning curve, and the opportunity to automate how the business measures and plans its performance. This role requires strong fluency with AI tools — using Claude and similar tools to accelerate analysis, automate recurring work, and raise the speed and quality of the team's output.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain margin and unit economics analyses across products, channels, and partners — identifying drivers of margin compression and expansion and quantifying levers to improve profitability
Identify and size growth markets through market sizing, competitive and industry intelligence, and prioritization of new geographies, verticals, and partner segments
Develop customer, contractor, and partner segmentation using internal and external data to inform targeting, pricing, and go-to-market priorities with Sales, Marketing, and Product
Build and automate forecasts, KPI dashboards, and recurring reporting — leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude), SQL, and Python to replace manual workflows and improve accuracy and speed
Translate analyses into clear, executive-ready presentations and recommendations, and track initiative performance against the business case; identify opportunities to embed AI into team and business workflows
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field required
2-4 years of experience in analytics, strategy consulting, investment banking, FP&A, corporate strategy, or a high-growth fintech
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; able to break down ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and drive to answers with incomplete data
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; working proficiency in SQL preferred (Python, Tableau, or Power BI a plus)
Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) in day-to-day analytical work — prepared to walk through specific workflows built or automated
Ability to explain complex analysis in simple, plain language to audiences across every function — not just finance
Working knowledge of lending or fintech fundamentals (unit economics, credit performance, customer acquisition), or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly
Intellectual curiosity, ownership, and bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
Low-ego, collaborative teammate who builds trust across functions
Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential financial and customer data
