The candidate must be very detail-oriented, highly motivated, team player with a strong sense of urgency and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where changing priorities may occur frequently based on operational needs.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, record and reconcile GL accounts relating to payroll, accruals, leases, debt, and all other accounts assigned.Prepare, record and reconcile accounts relating to contract assets, liabilities, and all otheraccounts assigned pursuant to ASC 606Support the US GL and revenue accounting team with ad-hoc reporting and analysesResearch variances for all assigned accounts and prepare adjusting entries as needed.Review financial reports for completeness and accuracy and perform balance sheet flux analysis.Prepare, review and support the quarterly reviews/ year-end audit with external auditorsPrepare ad-hoc analysis and special projects as the need arises
Must Have:
Technical knowledge and practical knowledge of revenue recognition standard ASC 606
Qualifications & Skills:
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, CPA is a plus3+ years of relevant work experience2+ years of public accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or large national firm)Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reportingExcellent communication, organization, project management and leadership skillsExperience with Netsuite a plus
