About the role

As a part of the Exec Ops team, the Sales Operations Lead is a critical role designed to bridge the gap between our sales strategy and execution. This position involves working closely with the sales and ad product teams to refine sales processes, ensure CRM integrity, manage sales analytics, and implement effective sales strategies and plans. Your expertise will directly influence our sales team's success, helping us achieve ambitious sales targets and expand our market presence. In this role, you will be expected to wear multiple hats, adapting to various responsibilities and challenges that come with a fast-paced startup environment. Your ability to switch gears quickly, think on your feet, and tackle a diverse range of tasks will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales operations strategies that align with the company's objectives and market dynamics.
  • Manage sales forecasting, create regular reports on sales performance, and present insights to leadership teams.
  • Continuously assess and refine sales processes and methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce sales cycle times, and improve overall sales productivity.
  • Coordinate sales training programs to ensure sales team proficiency in CRM use, sales processes, and other sales tools.
  • Assess customer data to find trends and insights within customer profiles
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure cohesive efforts and alignment on goals.
  • Work closely with P&E teams to identify cross-functional trends and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experienced in sales operations, preferably within the tech or startup environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales operations strategies and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Familiar with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing projects and initiatives.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced startup environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
