Company Description

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description

1. Customer requirement management:

  • Gather and document customer technical requirements and preferences.
  • Translate customer implicit requirements into technical specifications and transfer to internal engineering team.
  • Negotiation with customer to balance the customer need and internal capability, documentation and management negotiation result.

2. Technical communication with customer:

  • Primary contact for customer about technical and engineering-related matters.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including addressing inquiries, quality issues, and offering guidance.
  • Understand customer needs, expectations, and concerns to ensure effective communication.
  • Translate customer needs and expectations into technically feasible solutions.
  • Manage customer requests and work packages in project, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer.

3. Quality gate to customer:

  • Ensure that products and solutions delivered to customers meet their requirements and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar subjects.
  • Experience with project/ engineering change process in the automotive environment.
  • Good understanding of automotive technology, e/wire harness experience or knowledge.
  • Native or fluent in Japanese and advanced level in English skills for customer and global team communication.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high resilience, willingness to take responsibility.
  • Proactiveness and openness to learn, work and collaborating in global team.
  • Independent, well-structured and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills.
