You will work alongside military medical professionals, technical specialists, and field-support teams to strengthen operational readiness and support the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) mission. This opportunity combines deployed medical experience, operational leadership, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in complex military healthcare environments.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a primary coordination point for command surgeons, Service medical staffs, and other operational stakeholders.
  • Plan and lead fielding, sustainment, and exercise support activities involving deployed military medical information systems.
  • Coordinate field service, engineering, exercise-support, and credentialed clinical expertise as needed to address operational requirements.
  • Support deployment readiness, operational continuity, and effective transitions as military medical units rotate or change assignments.
  • Monitor system adoption, operational issues, and support effectiveness to identify and address challenges affecting military medical operations.
  • Communicate operational risks and significant issues through program leadership to support timely resolution and appropriate Government decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in operational medicine, including deployed Role 1–3 experience.
  • Previous field service leadership or theater medical IT leadership experience.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently worldwide, including to overseas and austere locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background as an Army 68W, Navy corpsman, Independent Duty Medical Technician (IDMT), or medical officer.
  • Experience supporting a combatant-command surgeon's office or Service medical staff.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
