The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. To achieve our vision of becoming a large-volume provider of tactical rocket motors, we will develop differentiated products and services that maximize our customers’ capabilities, and we will establish and maintain a reputation of Quality and Reliability.

Anduril’s Rocket Motor Systems group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The Rocket Motor Systems group designs, develops, and manufactures next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications at Anduril.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Design tooling and fixturing for handling and testing rocket motor hardware.
Own designs from cradle to grave and be fully responsible for the success of assigned projects.
Attend daily tag up meetings to update relevant stakeholders on project progression.
Work directly with the team responsible for testing rocket motors to get direct feedback from test engineers and technicians on hardware designed.
Support fabrication and operational efforts related to hardware designed.
Create supporting documentation and operating manuals for a given project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
2 years minimum experience designing mechanical hardware.
CAD model and drawing generation experience.
Familiar with basic machine shop tools.
U.S. Person Status is required as this position needs to access controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Solidworks CAD.
Experience with GD&T for engineering drawings.
Design for manufacturing and production experience.
Familiar with common and advanced machining operations on manual and CNC machines.

US Salary Range

$90,000—$135,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
