What we're looking for: 

Nexamp is seeking to hire a Lead Marketing Analyst on our Marketing team. You will be responsible for leading data analytics cross functionally across our Marketing & Products team. You work closely with multiple stakeholders to identify critical business objectives and brainstorm solutions enable by the analytics. You will be hybrid out of our Boston or Chicago office. You will report to our SVP, Marketing. 

What you'll do:

  • Dive deep into the data to understand how customer behavior changes with the evolution of our products and features.
  • Design and build dashboards, enabling stakeholders to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify critical business objectives, scope analytics projects and brainstorm solutions enabled by analytics.
  • Design, scope, and analyze A/B tests to optimize marketing campaigns best.
  • Advise engineering/technology on best practices for data capture to support meaningful analytics.
  • Embrace and adapt to challenges presented by from raw, unstructured, or semi-structured data.
  • Set annual goals based on ability to generate step-change improvements to core business functions through improved analytics.
  • Work with our Product Management and Software Development teams (“DPI”) to evolve Nexamp’s marketing data infrastructure and position it for future growth.
  • Be hands-on in operating data insights tooling for core business functions.
  • Guide in-house Development & Product team in selecting tools and methods for building Nexamp’s data infrastructure.

What you'll bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus
  • 4-7 years of relevant analytics experience, ideally at a company focused on consumer acquisition and retention
  • Excellent technical skills: expert experience with SQL and at least one data visualization / BI tool (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Spotfire)
  • Experience working with large external parallel datasets (e.g. Redshift)
  • Experience with analytics across multiple internal and external data sets
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.  
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry. 
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
