The Account Executive is responsible for using the Company's sales model to create and develop new sales opportunities and to sell software consistently and predictably to achieve pre-determined sales targets, while at the same time ensuring a satisfied customer base, which allows us to build a sustainable business for future success in the territory.

Your Role 

  • Develop and close new sales opportunities using the company’s established sales model.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to long-term business growth within the assigned territory.
  • Assess and validate customer needs to create tailored solution proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through effective communication (phone, video conferencing, etc.).
  • Own the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, from opportunity identification to close.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, collaborating with Sales Engineering for technical presentations as needed.
  • Accurately enter and update customer information in Salesforce to maintain CRM data integrity.
  • Create, update, and renew quotes in Salesforce, CPQ, or NetSuite to ensure deal profitability and compliance with pricing guidelines.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance updates to sales and executive leadership.
  • Cultivate consultative partnerships with clients directly and through channel partners.
  • Pilot and offer feedback on new go-to-market strategies, tools, or product marketing efforts.
  • Analyze assigned accounts independently and develop strategic engagement plans to achieve quarterly objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to present integrated solutions across multiple IT disciplines.
  • Understand and align customer IT strategies and objectives with company solutions.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives based on customer needs and existing environments.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including procurement teams, to navigate buying cycles.
  • Stay informed about product offerings, and achieve internal certification on company products.
  • Manage a high volume of sales opportunities concurrently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  • Interpret sales metrics and use data to guide daily decision-making and opportunity management.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales or account management role.
  • Proven ability to develop trust and maintain relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
