Job Overview:

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for reviewing and revising online course content to ensure it remains relevant, engaging, and effective. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design high-quality learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze feedback from course participants and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize / improve content based on learning design best practices.
  • Create and / or update course content, including multimedia assets, assessments, and interactivities.
  • Apply instructional design principles to enhance course effectiveness and learner engagement.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (project managers, design, partner implementation, account managers, etc.) and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevancy.
  • Create / update content bundles (by stitching / stacking pre-existing stand alone courses with newly developed content) 
  • Stay updated on the latest e-learning trends and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 + years of experience in instructional design or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
