THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Head of Revenue Operations to build the processes and infrastructure that allow the Sales organization to scale effectively. This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy, analytics, and systems, ensuring the company hits ambitious revenue goals while maintaining efficiency, alignment, and employee satisfaction across the commercial organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales planning and strategy: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership on revenue targets, quota setting, headcount strategy, and territory design

  • Forecasting and reporting: Own forecasting cadence and sales analytics, including delivering insights on pipeline health, rep performance, and segment trends

  • Compensation and incentives: Develop and manage sales comp plans while ensuring everyone impacted is informed and aligned

  • Systems and tools: Own the GTM tech stack, leading tool evaluation, implementation, and data integrity initiatives

  • Deal desk and commercial operations: Build and run the Deal Desk, including partnering with Legal and Finance on pricing, approvals, and commercial terms

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, and GTM Operations experience in high-growth tech companies

  • Proven track record of scaling revenue operations and driving alignment across all GTM functions

  • Strong background managing sales support functions, including Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Systems, and Sales Enablement

  • Advanced proficiency in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and delivering actionable insights through data and analytics

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams

  • An ownership mindset: you’re excited to be the first hire in this role and to shape how revenue operations works at Baseten
