- Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be part of a team of expert developers working on Sysdig Monitor Product.
- You will collaborate with colleagues in product and design to define feature specifications and timelines.
- You will solve challenging problems about integrations, scalability and performance in a complex distributed system, to build reliable components.
- You will be part of an amazing team, where the primary goal for everybody is to work together to build the best product we can. We enjoy what we do and we always aim to get better.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issue
What you will bring with you- You will bring experience with Java Backend, such as RESTful API design and microservice-based architectures
- Preferably some exposure to Golang and Python languages.
- Some experience with the full stack of web development with React and testing
- Hands-on experience on computer science fundamentals in design, data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency with testing methodologies, such as unit testing and integration testing
What we look for- At least 2 years of professional experience working in a cross team environment, contributing to technical and product discussions.
- Willing to participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and improve.
- Willing to code and learn in different areas, ranging from Frontend development to Backend and scripting tools.
- Fluent in English with proficiency to collaborate with a global team while expressing your thoughts and ideas and see them come to fruition.
- Experience operating in Kubernetes and Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) is desirable
