What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you’ll play a vital role in our design, prototyping, and testing efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design and analysis of mechanical systems for nuclear energy applications.
  • Conducting simulations and computational analyses to ensure system reliability and safety.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support prototyping and testing initiatives.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and presentations.
  • Contributing to innovative solutions that enhance performance, efficiency, and safety in nuclear systems.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and materials science.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, etc.) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, STAR-CCM, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Passion for clean energy and a commitment to innovation.
