About Commonwealth Fusion Systems:
Commonwealth Fusion Systems is on a mission to deliver the urgent transition to fusion energy.
Combining decades of research, top talent, and new technologies, we’re designing and building commercially viable fusion power plants. And we're working with policymakers, suppliers, and many others to build the energy industry of the future.
We’re in the best position to make it happen. Since 2018, we’ve raised $4 billion of capital, making us the largest and leading fusion company in the world.
Now we’re looking for more thinkers, doers, builders, and makers to join us. People who’ll bring new perspectives, solve tough problems, and thrive as part of a team.
If that’s you and this role fits, we want to hear from you.
Join the power movement as an Executive Operations Partner

Manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality with the highest level of discretion
Partner closely with the broader EA team to ensure seamless communication, scheduling alignment, and support coverage across the executive suite
Anticipate logistical and operational needs, identify gaps, propose solutions, and execute without being asked twice
Support cross-functional coordination between executives and their teams, acting as a connector and communicator when needed
Adapt to shifting priorities and feedback while maintaining a positive, composed, and professional approach
What we’re looking for:
5-7 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with direct support to multiple executives at the C-suite or senior leadership level
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a team
High emotional intelligence (EQ) - able to read a room, build trust quickly, and navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
A reputation for reliability, discretion, and sound judgment, someone leaders can depend on without hesitation
Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Teams
Must-have Requirements:
Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
