Driver I - Uber Freight

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and service-oriented Driver to support the daily operations of our Monterrey offices. This role is not only focused on providing safe and efficient transportation services for employees between office locations and assigned parking areas, but also on ensuring the timely delivery of packages and official documents across the Monterrey metropolitan area, directly supporting the Finance team. As part of the Facilities team, we work every day to ensure deliveries arrive on time while providing a safe and professional experience for our employees during every trip.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Driving the company-assigned utility vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic regulations.
• Keeping track of the employees who board the vehicle.
• Responsible for cleaning and performing minor mechanical repairs on the vehicle.
• Refueling the vehicle as needed.
• Using the utility vehicle checklist and reporting any damages found on the unit.
• Compiling reports of ongoing or completed activities.
• Communicating incidents that occurred among employees during the course of their activities.
• Assisting in finance department's messenger operations by delivering official documents and information.
• Supporting the company's health campaigns.
• Presenting official documents to the appropriate authorities.

Basic Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Driver license preferred).
• Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes within the Monterrey metropolitan area.
• At least 1 year of experience as a driver.
• At least 1 year of experience driving medium-sized vehicles and transporting personnel.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and customer service.
• Ability to support timely package and document deliveries for internal teams, including Finance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Planning and organization skills, efficient time management.
• Sense of urgency in the completion of tasks.
• Leadership in promoting health and safety during the company's campaigns.
