DevOps Team Lead – Cloud Foundation - Yotpo

Our DevOps team plays a pivotal role in ensuring our cloud infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. As a DevOps Team Lead, you will guide a high-performing, international team, optimize cloud infrastructure, and influence cross-functional projects that directly impact our customers and all R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a high-performing, international DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain, design, and optimize Yotpo’s cloud infrastructure to improve product quality, boost development velocity, and reduce operational costs.
• Make data-driven decisions by collecting and analyzing metrics to prioritize the most impactful initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to technical initiatives that require collaboration across multiple R&D teams.

Requirеments:

• 2+ years of experience leading Cloud/DevOps teams.
• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Expert-level knowledge in containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Scripting (Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) expertise.
• Experience with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, OpenTelemetry).
• Strong experience authoring and tuning CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Proven experience in incident response, troubleshooting distributed systems, and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience working in large-scale production environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps/CloudOps, Developer, DevOps).
• Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKAD).
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or relevant.
• Experience designing and building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) that enable self-service capabilities for software engineering teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
