We connect as a team at our Team Week experiences four times a year and at our recently established Hub locations - SF Bay Area and San Diego, CA; NYC Metro Area, NY; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Calgary, AB; and Toronto, ON.We are currently seeking candidates located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs to foster more in-person connections while maintaining our flexible remote culture.About This PositionWe are looking to add a Compensation and Equity expert to support and enhance our total rewards function. This role will have a specialized focus on equity planning management and core compensation modeling and administration. While day-to-day equity administration is managed by an external vendor, this role will serve as the internal lead—managing the vendor, ensuring compliance with plan rules, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to support our executive and investor-aligned programs.This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the intersection of compensation, equity, and compliance in HR Operations.Overview of DepartmentOur HR department consists of three functions: Employee Engagement, HR Operations and Recruiting. - Executive Equity Programs (Oversight & Strategy):
- Manage internal coordination for equity and grant programs including approvals, communication, and tracking
- Serve as the primary liaison to our external equity administration vendor, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely processing of grants/vesting/payouts, and continuous alignment with our plan terms
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and plan requirements in partnership with Legal, Finance, and external counsel.
- Maintain internal audit trails, trackers, and documentation related to all equity activity
- Oversee service levels, deliverables, and timelines from the equity administration provider
- Monitor vendor processes to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and participant support standards
- Lead regular reviews and updates of plan documents, processes, and equity communications in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsel
- Supports equity plan re-design efforts
- Compensation & Modeling:
- Assist in the annual compensation cycle (merit, bonus, equity planning) by preparing data, running reports, and supporting system processes
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and job evaluations using survey data and market tools
- Maintain clean, accurate compensation data across internal systems and spreadsheets
- Support compensation audits, internal reporting, and process improvement efforts
Qualifications and Skills- 5-7 years of experience in compensation and/or equity programs, preferably in a PE-backed or high-growth company.
- Familiarity with Private Equity Units (PEUs), executive equity design, and cap table fundamentals.
- Experience working with or managing vendors
- Understanding of equity-related compliance, tax, and legal considerations.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for modeling and data validation.
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field. CCP or CEP coursework/certification is a plus.

- Position is part of a remote team, with regular electronic and video communication
