This role

The collections representative is responsible for providing customer service through the various means we have available to advise on their payments, in order to reduce the number of clients in arrears in the portfolio and the risk of overdue accounts receivable.



Responsibilities
  • Explanation and customer service with any information related to their financing, validation and application of payments.
  • Make phone calls according to the assigned portfolio to contact the various Merchants and clients by carrying out the requested collection management.
  • Recover payments from clients who are late on their account, organizing clients depending on their level of delay and reporting payment promises.
  • Comply with the established goals, complying with the policies, scripts, script, procedures and dealing with the clients.
  • Help improve the collection strategies we already have in place.
  • Requirements
  • Completed Technical or partially university studies in related areas such as Business Administration, Communications or similar.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite.
  • Previous experience in collection or customer service preferably in the sales or financial sector, for at least 1 year.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team and handle difficult situations under pressure.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and a supportive attitude when communicating with our clients, as well as a strong ability to communicate assertively, both orally and in writing.
