Job Description
JMA is restoring U.S. leadership in wireless technology at a critical time in the transition to 5G. It makes the world’s most advanced software-based 5G platform, designed, coded, and manufactured in Syracuse, NY at the only U.S.-owned 5G factory in the country.
Across its global tech centers, JMA makes 5G possible for organizations with the most critical connectivity demands in the world. JMA’s technology is ushering in a new era of connectivity for leading mobile carriers, the most iconic stadiums, major universities, leading healthcare centers, the busiest transit centers, and the U.S. Military.
5G is more than another G on your phone — it is a generational opportunity to change the way the world operates. Join the industry’s fastest growing technology company to shape that future today.

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is a high-level individual contributor responsible for operationalizing the roadmap defined by leadership, acting as the primary functional authority to translate high-level vision into scalable technical execution. While this role does not have direct reports, you will act as the primary functional authority, providing technical and process direction to a team of ERP analysts and external partners.
The role will bridge communication between IT and business units to ensure the entire application landscape—including ERP, integrated third-party applications, and homegrown solutions—is aligned with business goals, supported effectively, and continuously optimized for performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize the ERP roadmap based on business impact; prepare and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure focus on high-value initiatives.

  • Convert complex business aspirations into high-quality functional specifications, ensuring the "Why" (business value) is defined before the "How" (technical configuration).

  • Directly author and maintain comprehensive documentation for ERP configurations, business processes, and technical troubleshooting guides, while establishing standards for the team’s documentation output.

  • Drive end-to-end change management protocols, safeguarding business continuity through rigorous UAT and formal stakeholder sign-off.

  • Create test plans and test scripts.

  • Lead initiatives to improve data quality.

  • Work with external implementation partners and offshore resources to ensure architectural standards.

  • Provide mentorship to a team of ERP specialists, fostering collaboration, and providing guidance on best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

  • Minimum of 8-years of experience in ERP Functional Consulting delivering high-impact solutions through close partnership with business stakeholders.

  • Strong ERP knowledge and cross-functional understanding with hands-on experience in related SAP applications/modules like Sales & Distribution, Inventory, Costing, Manufacturing, Planning, and Project Systems with an understanding of Financials as an advantage.

  • Clear understanding of end-to-end integration architecture between ERP and the broader ecosystem, including SAP products (e.g. C4C, AVC, CPQ) and critical third-party solutions (e.g., Avalara, Medius).

  • Extensive experience with complex system enhancements, and high-priority production support.

  • Analytical mindset with expertise at troubleshooting historical accumulation issues and implementing long-term structural fixes.

  • Strong familiarity with ERP cloud offerings and BTP is highly desirable to support the organization’s future-state.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • #LI-TM1
