We are currently looking to hire a Technical Surveillance Countermeasure (TSCM) Technician to join our team (embedded with our client in Seattle, Washington)! This position requires working on site from our client’s location in Seattle, Washington. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Technician will provide fixed-site enterprise monitoring and travel support to detect, analyze, and mitigate technical hazards and vulnerabilities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Monitoring with a focus on TCSM
  • Collect data, and create reports, alerts, and updates for submission to the senior leadership of the Purchaser. 
  • Prepare responses to research requests, white papers, threat briefings, and specialized information reports. 
  • Conduct full-scope and limited-scope technical inspections. 
  • Support the development of Security Operating Procedures (SOP) and support comprehensive security evaluations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of the Interagency Training Center (ITC) Fundamentals Course, REI training, or equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • TSCM training or certification, such as the Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Fundamentals, or similar.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to analyze situations, make quick decisions, and formulate action plans succinctly.
  • Have a passion for continuous improvement, delivering results, and customer service.
  • Open and approachable with a bias for action.
  • Able to work as a team, but also independently.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • This position requires up to 30% to 50% travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in a federal government or military TSCM or Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) program.
  • Prior roles as a TSCM or TSSC Practitioner or TSCM Technician.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • This role consists of heavy work, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.; This role requires the ability to work in and around confined spaces. It requires reaching overhead and climbing ladders to work at heights of up to 20 feet. This role requires kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • This job is required to perform stressful and physical activities.
