The Role
As the Senior Product Manager at Story, you will work closely with the leadership team, particularly the CPO, to drive the execution of our product roadmap. Your role will focus on ensuring the timely delivery of our products while integrating user feedback and ensuring our IP infrastructure meets the needs of our community. You will be responsible for aligning the execution of the product strategy with the broader goals of the company, driving the day-to-day processes, and ensuring quality at every stage of product development.
Key Responsibilities
Execute on the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.Own the product lifecycle from conception to launch, with a relentless focus on execution and delivery.Translate customer and design partner feedback into actionable product improvements, ensuring their needs are met at every stage.Drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.Collaborate with engineering, design, and developer relations teams to ensure seamless development and a smooth user experience.Provide clear direction and requirements to cross-functional teams, focusing on breaking down complex problems into executable tasks.Track key product metrics and performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement and optimal execution.Assist in developing user and developer-facing applications that foster adoption and engagement within our IP ecosystem.Lead the integration of smart contract design, collaborating with engineers to ensure scalability and protocol improvements.
Who you are:
4+ years of product management experience with a demonstrated ability to drive successful product execution in consumer applications, preferably within the blockchain/crypto space.Strong ability to translate strategic goals into clear, actionable tasks and drive them to completion.Experience with smart contract architecture and design in a protocol-based company, especially in the blockchain/crypto space.Exceptional organizational skills with an execution-focused mindset, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, etc.) in a fast-paced, iterative environment.Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to adapt quickly and deliver high-quality results.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.Ideally based in the Bay Area with the ability to work in person 3 days a week.
