As a Senior Product Designer, you play a leading role within your product team, collaborating with the PM and Engineering Lead to drive strategic initiatives. You contribute to cross-product projects, engage with leaders across multiple functions, and mentor other designers within the team with less experience. With a focus on complex and ambiguous projects, you lead design through all stages of the product design process.


Key Skills

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of user-centered design principles, with a focus on creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Mastery designing in Figma, and an eagerness to stay updated on industry trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor other designers, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented design team.
  • Ability to interpret and translate product requirements into compelling design solutions, presenting multiple viable paths forward.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, while still exploring and aligning projects with company goals, providing regular updates, collaborating with key stakeholders, and balancing attention to detail with consideration of the bigger picture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to anticipate issues, translate insights into effective solutions, and take a pragmatic view toward overcoming challenges.

    • Independently plan, shape objectives for, conduct, and co-lead the synthesis of user research with minimal guidance.
  • Prototyping I strive to build the right thing in the simplest way
    • Employ diverse testing methods including accessibility, features, content, and localization to spearhead the development of intricate prototypes, incorporating feedback through iterative design, and championing the adoption of innovative techniques within the team.
  • Interaction & Visual DesignI strive to build the right thing the right way
    • Create clear user flows for complex interactions meeting diverse user needs, demonstrating deep knowledge of our design system, and actively collaborating on its creation, maintenance, and evolution.
  • Communication I strive for clarity and being enjoyable to work with
    • Clearly communicate design thinking/rationale to the organization, leadership, and clients, while actively listening, engaging in constructive dialogue, and transparently documenting decisions.

Compensation

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The total pay range for this role is $155,000 - $175,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
