About the Role

MoneyLion is seeking a Senior People Business Partner who will lead strategic HR efforts that contribute to the overall growth and success of our dynamic and growing financial technology company. This role will partner with some of the best minds in the fintech industry to ensure that the business delivers on its strategy and key objectives. It’s not enough to push the status quo; we are seeking someone excited by the opportunity to harness their experience, skills, and expertise to deliver talent programs that match the quality and scale of MoneyLion’s products.  

This role is located on-site 4 days a week at our new headquarters in Chelsea, NYC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR expertise to senior leadership in organizational design and development, compensation, performance management, promotions, development, and coaching.
  • Advise global, senior stakeholders on people and talent management strategies that align with divisional and firmwide business goals.
  • Drive organizational change and influence leaders to navigate complex issues.
  • Partner with senior leadership and recruiting on workforce planning.
  • Analyze and interpret various types of data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to the business around overall organizational health.
  • Establish and maintain an intimate understanding of the business, building effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Proactively assess business and organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative approach.
  • Project manage people development processes and leadership presentations for the business.
  • Lead managers, in conjunction with legal counsel, through the identification, escalation, risk mitigation, and resolution of employee relations issues.

About You

  • At least 6+ years of experience in a strategic HR business partner role, preferably in the finance and/or technology industry.
  • Ability to thrive autonomously, without prescribed direction, in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of leading people projects that drive business success.
  • Excited about the opportunity to design, build, and implement new processes and procedures. 
  • You run meetings with precision, leading the way while energizing and motivating others
  • Provide the team, managers, and senior leaders with a source of clarity…you are a go-to resource who removes roadblocks and solves problems. 
  • Ability to facilitate discussions around change and transformation, identify in advance where and when change management will be needed, and proactively develop plans to meet these needs.

The annual base salary for this position is between $155,000 to $175,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
